Product Description This unique all-in-one cloth diaper design combines the convenience of an all-in-one diaper while providing the absorbency and adjustability of a pocket diaper. Made with a waterproof outer layer of PUL, 3 sewn-in layers of high quality microfiber terry, a layer of microfleece, and a full layer of cotton velour next to baby's skin. Microfiber terry is used as the soaker pad for its ability to absorb wetness fast. A layer of microfleece is used to provide a dry barrier between the velour top layer of the diaper. Swaddlebees mircofleece is the most non-allergenic material known to man. It is also one of the most moisture absorbent materials there is. The result is a diaper that quickly absorbs moisture and wicks it from the baby's body to hold it away in the built-in microfiber terry soaker layers. The microsfleece or suedecloth is not directly in contact with the baby's skin; skin sensitivity is not an issue with these diapers! Should the mircofleece layer ever experience buildup, liquid will be absorbed first by the cotton velour layer because of the cotton's inherent absorbent qualities. PLUS an extra insert or doubler may be added through the opening at the back to keep baby dry during the night. Small : Waist = 10-19" Thighs 8-13" Rise 14.5" Weight Estimate 8-16 lb. Medium: Waist= 14-21" Thighs 10-15" Rise 16" Weight Estimate 12-25 lb. Large: Waist= 15-24" Thighs 10-17' Rise 18" Weight Estimate 22-40 lb. TIPS ON USING: 1. The diapers need to be pre-washed at least once before use. Three to four times, and dried in between, is preferable. This causes the cotton fibers of the top layer to fluff up and become more absorbent. You may experience leaking if the diaper has not been pre-washed sufficiently. 2. Hemp inserts/doublers perform best when additional absorbency is needed.

may as well not have a diaper on October 6, 2008 Laura5268 (Shenandoah Valley, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a 2 month old and really wanted to try cloth for her. I also felt like I needed to try a bunch of different kinds before I made a selection. I bought one of these, a couple of Happy Heinys, Kissaluvs, and BumGenius 3.0. The first and only time I put this one on her, I was nursing her, so she was laying on her side on a pillow in my lap. When I picked her up, the diaper had leaked all over the pillow, like she wasn't even wearing a diaper at all. We now use the Kissaluvs size 0 during the day, with nylon Dappi pants covers, and BumGenius at night and on-the-go, since they keep her drier. She is going to grow out of the Kissaluvs soon, at which point we will be using the BumGenius. I know that some of it depends on the shape of your baby, and our daughter has a smaller waist and pudgier legs, which these diapers don't seem to adjust to. All in all, I wouldn't recommend them.
swaddlebbes misconception August 13, 2008 Robert Sikorski 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
We tried to be both environmentally conscious and cut cost (from buying diapers)buy buying swaddlebees. For starters, the cost of swaddlebees are costly, for the same price we could have bought almost 2 large boxes of Pampers if you include the cost of the swaddlebees insert which is a must if you do not want it to leak. Further, we did not save money over pampers after you calculate the cost of electricity and water (possibly sewer if you live in the city)to wash and dry swaddlebees. Therefore we are back to diapers.
Great for overnight July 31, 2008 Milk Maid Momma (Slidell, LA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this diaper, but there is only one problem. It takes forever to dry. It fits my 20 pound 8 month old and my 33 pound 3 year old. It's better for overnight than Pampers Easy Ups for my heavy wetting toddler. It's great at containing big breastfed baby poops too. I love that I can add a booster for my toddler if I need to and that I can turn it inside out to help dry it a little faster. The colors in the Martini print go with just about everything we have for both of my girls.
okay but fuzzi bunz are better July 22, 2008 new mom (New York) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
For our first child we wanted to use cloth diapers. Because the reviews were so vaied we decided to try both the swaddlebees and the fuzzi bunz. The swaddlebees weren't very good. First small didn't fit (our baby was over 8 lbs) then when they did fit they always leaked. Also, because it is an all-in-one diaper it takes ages to dry. You would need three full sets becuase they take an entire day to dry. For new parents looking to take the cloth diaper option I would recommend the fuzzi bunz cloth diapers, the adjustable fit means you can use them from day one and because of the pocket insert they dry quickly. Hope it helps.
I love this diaper! June 26, 2008 WeLoveEvaJ (FPO, AP) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought the Aplix Swaddlebees AIO and hated it. However, this one fits my baby so much better!!! And, no leaks! It is so soft and nice. Highly recommend it! Oh, and a nice trim fit, too. :)
