Well made gloves October 13, 2008 Eduard J. Hahn (NJ, United States) I have had these gloves for about a year and they work very well for adding logs to my fire place. I have manipulated hot logs and have not felt any discomfort. They might be a bit bulks for grilling, though.
They work well. September 5, 2008 A. Peter Algover (Danville, CA USA) I've had a heavier-duty pair for some time. My wife recently took up a hobby of working with hot glass and making glass beads. She regularly used my gloves, and, when I needed them for the fireplace or the barbecue, I'd always have to hunt for them. So, recently, I got her these. They do the job well. They work fine for her, and now I can find mine, where I left them, when I need them.

This is my second pair of these gloves; the first lasted about 20 years and they work great. The sellers service was A One, I received a confirmation immediately and they were shipped first thing the next morning - by express mail to my surprise.
Great for BBQ but be careful with lit coals June 6, 2008 S. H. Thakkar (Chitown) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are great gloves for bbqing. Picking up and moving hot grates and moving any hot bbq equipment for that matter is no problem. They're good enough where you might find yourself feeling confident enough to pick up a hot, lit, coal. It'll be ok for a few seconds but then you'll feel it. I guess that's what tongs are for.
Nice, but not heat resistant May 2, 2008 Brad Maffett (Royston, Ga) I bought these to move wood around in a fireplace. I can still feel the fire through these. I've had other brands which are better than these, and I'll be getting another brand soon.
