Great little instrument August 30, 2008

I've been playing soprano recorder for a while and wanted to try a sopranino. For the price, I wasn't expecting too much, so I was very happily surprised at the excellent tone and feel of this instrument. It sounds really good - good enough to record with - and the case it comes with is actually quite nice, too.

Buy this. You'll be surpised how excellent the tone is. It's worth it to buy a solid recorder for yourself or your kids, AND THEN hunt down a copy of the Von Trapp Recorder method to learn with. Lots of strong classical pieces, but none are impossible to play. Drat, they should reprint those, they're worthy of calling classics!
