Customer Reviews: EXTREMELY POWERFUL!June 10, 2010 H.K.Thrower(Eatonton, GA USA) This surge protector is extremely powerful and therefore requires a lot of power. my current home's power grid can't handle it. I plug it in and one side of the house goes out. I'm gunnuh use it at my new home, that was built much later, and I'll see if I have to return it.
All in all, the company makes terrific surge protectors, I just need a stronger power grid, it saps too much power to protect 8 products with 1400 Joules of power.
Terrific for anyone with an entertainment system, your things WILL be protected.

And I agree with other reviewers... It would get five stars if the cord came out perpendicular to the wall socket rather than parallel.

It work perfect, Burned, but all electronics were well.!!
I will give 4 starts, because you can't replace the part that burns (The Fuse), to use again. Were made to only use one time.!!
very useful stripMay 3, 2010 G. Palmos(Harlingen TX) I like these because the various placements of the plugs allow for many adapters. I use them in sound work. My only suggestions would be a longer cord and a little tougher construction. Very pleased.
