Excellent low cost case September 19, 2008

This laptop case is great if you are looking for a low cost solution. Its well constucted and has many, well thought out, compartments for all the various stuff I have to carry with me every day. It looks pretty plain so if image is important you may want to pass, but if you just need a basic low cost laptop case check out this bag.

It fits my 17" MacBook Pro perfectly plus there's room for my external hard drive, iPods, extra cords, wireless mouse, digital camera, flash drives and whatever else I need along. The only downfall is that it's look doesn't compete with the function. It's a great bag but isn't really exciting looking.

...A place for everything, and everything in it's place. Disc slots, cell phone, ID papers/airline tickets, Mp3 player, blackberry/palm pilot, eyeglasses, large folder/file pocket, and writing implements all find dedicated homes within, + storage for a travel mouse, portable surge protector, laptop lock, etc. There's generic, expandable storage in two front pockets, + a large flat pocket on the back for files/papers that need to be kept flat. Here you'll also find quick grab shallow storage, with a mounted internal lanyard for securing keys, and a split loop for securing the entie case to the telescoping handle of your luggage. Then there's the main compartment that can handle the largest laptops with ease. Your laptop is secured within by padded velcro strapping. There's even more storage here, for your power supply, and whatever else you se fit.
The case IS by Case Logic, so the material is reminiscent of that of the cd storage books for which they are most known. You could buy a fancier case, and pay a fancier price, but for the money, this basic black case is hard to beat.
