sony cassette player November 22, 2008 Jean Glidden This player works reasonably well, but has one design flaw. The battery compartment door is flimsy and does not stay closed well, even brand new. The playback becomes intermittent when the door moves even a little. The only reason I need this machine (I have two due to battery door failure on the otherwise operable first one) is because I enjoy listening to recorded books, many of which are still only available on cassette.
TV channels a plus, but lousy durability November 20, 2008 B. Miller (Los Angeles, CA) While I liked this product shortly after I got it, the battery door was flimsy enough not to last long. Now I can't get it to stay shut with the battery in it. The use of only one AA battery instead of 2 is a plus if you are using NiMH batteries, but a minus if you are using other rechargeables -- the batteries won't last long. I'm currently shopping for a player by a different brand, but a cheapo $9 Jensen one I got was even worse (actually far worse) than this.
Cassette Player November 20, 2008 C. R. Cofer (Winter Park, FL) Sound is good, but the carrying case is pretty flimsey and difficult to change tapes when out for a jog. Sony quality on sound, though.
not a bad deal November 19, 2008 Jorge D. Granados well, as you may well know, not every stor carries cassette players, it is fortunate for us to have a place and get this product. As the quality, I can not complain about it. just take good care of it.
Sony Portable Cassette player November 10, 2008 JSM (Port Angeles, WA) I find this to be a wonderful product. It is lightweight, comes with a carrying case, headphones with quality sound at an afforable price. I owned an older model (similar to this product) and was happy to find the quality is not only as good but better than the older Sony Walkman I replaced this one with. It is good to know Sony has maintained the quality of this product I would reccommend this cassette player without hesitation.
