We hike with our dog, who can easily consume 2-16 oz bottles in a 2 hour hike. The 2 liter size just arrived and two 16 oz water bottles fit with a little room to spare. The pocket is perfect for dog treats and a plastic sack for you-know-what in the woods. I also bought 2 of the 1 liter size for we mere humans, again a great size for a standard 16 oz bottle. Haven't trail-tested them yet, but they are similar to a another smaller product we have been using for two years that has worn beautifully.

I bought these water bottle holders for all my grandchildren to take to camp. They loved them! They said it kept their drinks cold (all day) and they loved the zipper to hold money or other items. Great item.
