I purchased this bottle as a replacement to my BPA-laden, plastic water bottle I've been carrying around for years. I was excited to find this Sigg-like brand for a cheaper price and still aesthetically pleasing.
After using the water bottle, I have become quite frustrated with intermittent squirting that comes from the straw. I was not sure what caused this, but as another commenter mentioned, it must be the difference in temperature between the liquid inside and the air outside. Seeing as I like to drink my water ice-cold, this creates many-a-gushing moments.
This doesn't seem to be as big a problem if you take the straw out, but then you lose the convenience of not having to tip the bottle up to drink from it. You may also get around this by just keeping room-temperature liquids inside.
So, this is a great, eco-alternative to countless plastic bottles or BPA-laden reusable ones, but there are a few minor design flaws that need to be worked out.

I have been switching my drinking bottles to stainless and have different problems, like what a pain to screw off a cap while driving, hard to clean pop tops, and do you really want to tilt your head back to drink while driving.. Well these great little bottle answers all these problems. Just fill lift straw and drink, no cap to unscrew, easy to clean, and no need to tilt head back. I love it and plan to buy a few more...

I love the bottle, as it was hard to find one with a straw. Only complaint is the straw is very fat -- like the size of a finger.

This bottle is such a good idea but not executed well. For starters if the liquid insine the bottle is colder than the outside air it squirts at you everytime you open it. This is due to the straw. Without the straw just air would come out and you wouldn't notice but due to the straw the liquid has to come out to equalize the pressue. I also tried using it without the straw and it also leaks at the top where you flip the spout up and down. With or without straw inside this part leaked everytime. Bummer

This is the water bottle everyone needs. It is so comfortable to drink from. I have one beside my bed,one in the car and I bring one to work. It is the best stainless steel water bottle out there. I bought one for all my kids and my husband. This one is the one to have if you want a comfortable to carry and drink from water bottle. The designs are great on the outside too.
