One of the best games in my childhood and still is. October 17, 2008 D. Kong (New York, NY) This game is just suitable for all ages and great fun to be played with family and friends in a short sitting. Monopoly is fun, but it can take too long. The game of life has a definitive ending and you can judge the progress rather easily. So planning for dinner becomes simpler. Through playing this game, you can teach your kids about a lot of things in life, such as investments and decision making. [...]
Hasbro The Game of Life October 8, 2008 V. Rizzo (Massachusetts) Excellent classic, but with some new up to date changes. Fun family game, but the game takes awhile to play so young players can get bored.
Lots of holes in the rules! August 13, 2008 Jill Monterey (california) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Has anyone figured out . . . 1 - What if you run out of Bank Loan chits? 2 - What are those little arrows on some of the spaces for? 3 - The rules say that in some cases you can get a double salary -- but they don't say which cases. Monopoly, by contrast, has these questions all sewed up, not a hole or a situation they haven't thought of.
Really Great August 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is really great. It teaches kids about life. So what is it's not very durable. Also some of you adults out there think it's not realistic. Well, news flash... ITS A GAME! My favorite job is the doctor. My only problem is the spinner. It's very hard to spin. But, if you can get over that, buy it!
Life Review July 17, 2008 Val Heidrich (Pittsburgh, PA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've had the game of Life in the past but needed a new one because of use. My friends, family and I have always enjoyed it. It's not too long of a game and fun for all ages.
